Join us at NuMat 2020

lunes, octubre 19, 2020

The online Nuclear Materials Conference, 26-29 October 2020 will focus on broad topics of interest to the nuclear science community. CAMECA looks forward to interacting with you at our virtual booth as well as at our workshop and poster presentations.

Attend our exclusive workshop, ACTINIS Dynamic SIMS for analysis of highly radioactive samples, and be among the first to learn about this new Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer!

Wed 28 Oct - 12 PM GMT
ACTINIS, Dynamic SIMS for analysis of highly radioactive samples

Presenter: Paula PERES, CAMECA
Registrations: by email to g.boodell@elsevier.com (no extra cost for NuMat delegates)

ACTINIS is CAMECA’s new Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer dedicated to high precision elemental and isotopic analyses of highly radioactive samples. It offers depth profiling with excellent detection limits (ppb to ppm) and high depth resolution, elemental and isotopic information ranging from low mass (H) to high mass species (Pu and above), as well as unique sub-μm resolution 2D and 3D imaging capabilities. ACTINIS includes all necessary protections against contamination and radiation effects. This workshop will describe the principles of the dynamic SIMS technique and show nuclear science applications covered by ACTINIS.

CAMECA offers complementary microanalytical instruments for nuclear materials characterization! Mark your agenda for the following poster presentations to learn more about our EPMA and APT technologies:

Wed 28 Oct, Session 3 - 6:30 PM GMT
  • SKAPHIA: Shielded Electron Probe Microanalyzer for radioactive sample, by Anne-Sophie ROBBES
  • Atom Probe Tomography Technology at the heart of developing nuclear materials for decades, by Robert ULFIG

Wed 29 Oct, Session 4 – 9:00 AM GMT
  • TEM/APT Correlative Analysis of high-strength, stable nanocrystalline Cu-Ta Alloy, by Robert ULFIG
